I'm very glad to kick off this new section with the sweet and contagious smile of this lovely child from Cape Verde. I'm very fond of this portrait, and it doesn't care if this is not my best picture. Her joyful expression made my day it's still printed in my mind.
My journey to Cape Verde wasn't neither exotic nor adventurous, but it was enough to remind that there are still places, not so far from here, where people appreciate little things and where a smile is for free.
